Rev O Build Suggestions

This was the first Mike Willegal board I built, and a lot of fun. For parts, I purchased the Unicorn package http://unicornelectronics.com/Apple1/Apple%5D%5Bkit.html which was expensive, but convenient. They sent the green expansion slots at the time, which I don't know if you can get anymore, and machine pin sockets, which are better than what Apple used. Keep in mind that period correct parts need to be checked before installation. Most modern EPROM programmers have this ability. The 14.31818 crystal has to be serial resonant or you will not get a color display. The one I got with the kit was not, I ended up using this: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/cts-frequency-controls/MP143/CTX088-ND/67739 instead. Now maybe if we could just get ReActive to get us some ASCII keyboards ;-)
