I am an Apple ][ hobbyist and collector. My first exposure to an Apple ][ was in 1979 as a hobby while seperately working on my mainframe based computer science degree in college. I began a career in programming/computer technology/networking shortly after graduating from college and soon bought my first Apple ][ plus in 1981. A few years later with the frustrating changes in Apple moving to a more proprietary platform, I made the leap to the IBM/DOS/MS/Windows platforms and left the Apple world altogether. After a 35 year career in the field of computer technology, I retired and returned to my roots as a hobbyist and collector of Apple ][ series computers, etc. I actively repair, program, and retro my family of Apple ][ machines.
