The IBM 15pin to Apple 9pin Joystick Adapter project was created by Tom Arnold of philosophyofsound.com in July of 2016. It allows the use of an "IBM" Joystick (DB15) on the Apple II computer (DB9).

The projects comes in two forms, a simple to assemble Kit which the user solders together, and assembled which comes ready for use.


Project Status: Complete. In production. Actively sold by ReActiveMicro.

History

The Apple 9pin Joystick Adapter project was initially sent to Henry and released at KFEST 2016 as prepacked Kits. Henry also provided attendees with assembled units if they requested.

In the beginning of January 2017 the project was added to the ReActiveMicro Store.

The original schematic was created by Jeff Hurlburt. Tom used it as a guide to create the adapter.
