&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;New page&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div&gt;It was September 1982, the evening before my first day of high school. I had recently turned 14. That night, my Dad got home from work and asked my brother and I to help him unload some boxes from the car. We walked outside acting the way kids do when they don&amp;#039;t want to help. My Dad popped the trunk and inside were giant white boxes with red Apple logos on them. I could hardly contain my excitement. My Dad worked for Bell &amp;amp; Howell for more than twenty years and that evening he brought home a black Apple ][ Plus. It would become my first computer and forever change my life.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
